IMPORTANT SERVICE INFORMATION ANNOUNCEMENT

During the Coronavirus pandemic, we have changed the way some of our services are provided.

We are able to provide COVID secure activities at the Headway Centre, Colchester during the new national lockdown period.

For the latest information on all services, please visit our Support During Covid-19 page

As an Essex-wide brain injury charity, we have two day time hubs offering day services and activities for adults living with acquired brain injury - The Headway Centre in North Essex and our South Essex hub in Benfleet.

Both our day time hubs provide practical activities and services to help people regain lost skills and learn how to cope and adjust.

Our carers and support staff in both localities have lots of experience in supporting people living with brain injury and provide structured support plans to help you with everyday living.

One of the many benefits in attending our day service hubs is that you have a chance to meet other people also living with brain injury. We’ve found that this helps lessen isolation and improves mental health and overall well-being.

Our support team will help you understand your brain injury; how it affects you and your family and what tools you could use to help you make adjustments in your life. Our aim is to support you in achieving your own goals.

To explore the day services and activities in your area, please visit either our North Essex or South Essex hub pages below:

Please note that if you have not been to one of our day service hubs before, you will need to contact our support team first on, 01206 845945 or email us
