In Essex, every 58 minutes, somebody is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury. As a charity, our mission is to ensure that everyone in Essex living with an acquired brain injury can live a fulfilling life and that families and carers are better able to cope within their caring roles.
Thanks to those who volunteer, fundraise and donate to us, we are able to help those we support develop a renewed sense of purpose, social structure and added meaning to their lives.
Look out for our accessibility helper on the right hand side, which has options to assist you on our website.
Headway Essex relies on voluntary donations to continue to provide vital services to brain injury survivors and their families. Your gift will help us to continue providing information and support to those who need it.
