IMPORTANT SERVICE INFORMATION ANNOUNCEMENT
Following government advice, related to the protection of vulnerable communities, we have temporarily closed our day centres and suspended face-to-face activities until further notice.
For the latest information, please view our blog here.
Run by Headway Essex, our carer support groups are quite literally a lifeline for many.
People attend the carer support groups for a variety of reasons, some to chat to others in a similar situation as themselves, and others to gain information and advice.
The groups will often have guest-speakers; either individuals with a brain injury or professionals working in the field of acquired brain injury.
All carers are welcome and there is absolutely no expectations on you as an attendee; you can interact as little or as much as you like.
If you have not attended one of our carer support groups before, you will need to contact the community support team to pre-register your attendance.
We also run separate support group meetings where the person you care for can also attend.
