At Headway Essex, our social impact goes far beyond numbers – it’s about the meaningful improvements to the health and wellbeing of the people we work alongside. We’re excited to share the incredible achievements of those we work with, and we couldn’t be prouder of the progress they’ve made. This report is a true reflection of their hard work, resilience, and growth, and we’re looking forward to continuing our mission and driving positive change for even more people.
Inside this report, you’ll get a closer look at how your support has helped us reach key milestones, including our hospital link work, community support, and our efforts to tackle health inequalities. The impact is clear:
- 82% of individuals feel their independence has improved.
- 73% feel better able to cope with day-to-day challenges.
- 76% feel more positive about their future.
As we look ahead, we remain fully committed to expanding our programs and increasing the support we provide to people whose lives have been impacted by brain injury. We are determined to continue advocating for this often-overlooked community and to make a lasting difference.
