We’ll be with you every step of the way by:

  • Charting your progress along your chosen route
  • Sending you virtual postcards from “destinations” along the way
  • Encouraging you to share your holiday snaps, walking selfies, and progress with the whole community

Together, we’ll create one big virtual holiday adventure while making a real difference for people living with brain injuries.
How It Works
When: 1st September – 30th September
Where: Walk anywhere, at any time during September.
Who can take part: Families, friends, work teams, community groups, and individuals—everyone is welcome!

And here’s the best part! We’ve registered with the Fun Walk Trust, which means your fundraising goes even further. Thanks to the generosity of businesses and other supporters, every participating charity or community group registered receives a share of a bonus fund, awarded on a pro rata basis according to the sponsorship they raise. In 2025, for every £100 raised in sponsorship, charities received an additional £35 from the bonus fund – making every step and every donation count even more.

Since 2002, the Fun Walk initiative has helped raise more than £1.6 million for local Essex charities and good causes.
