Get Involved - Volunteering

 

Volunteers are essential to every aspect of the work that Headway Essex provides. Currently Headway has over 60 volunteers supporting its work. Not only are these volunteers invaluable, but they bring to us a wide range of skills and experience which enriches our organisation.

 

People volunteer for many different reasons below are a few examples.

 

  • To support the work of Headway Essex
  • To meet new people and make friends
  • To learn new skills and gain work experience
  • To give something back to the community

 

Volunteers help Headway in a variety of ways. If you have a few hours a week to spare on a regular basis and would like to offer your support please contact us.

Day Service

 

  • Adult Education or project work
  • Helping with day trips
