Providing Brain Injury Care & Support

Parallel London

Sunday 3rd September 2017

Parallel London is the first fully inclusive and accessible push/run for everyone. Disabled and nondisabled unite to run, walk, wheel, push or be pushed – anything goes!

Take your place on the start line at the iconic Olympic Park exactly four years on from the London Paralympics. All ages. All abilities. No cut-off times. No excuses.

And that’s not all. There’ll be a family festival celebrating the very best in accessible attractions, from the fun and quirky to the ground-breaking and life-changing.

Participate, volunteer or simply cheer!

Choose your challenge – 10k, 5k, 1k, 100m – and be part of sporting history:

What sets Parallel London apart:

  • Participants are welcome to use whatever it takes to finish the course, from day, electric and racing wheelchairs to race-runners, walking frames and children’s buggies

  • Anyone who needs a helping hand is welcome to bring a buddy to push, guide or accompany them free of charge

  • You needn’t be in it to win it. Everyone will be celebrated for crossing the finish line

  • Backed by the Mayor of London, Parallel will form part of the UK’s build-up festivities to the Rio Paralympics 2016. Join the celebration!

If you take on the challenge and raise £150 or more in sponsorship for Headway Essex you can take part for free!
