The Services of Headway Essex:
- Respond to a real need
- Are not available from other sources
- Are focused
- Make sound economic sense.
Headway has grown from a North Essex based Charity to one covering the whole of the County.
Every year we support over 290 families living with the effects of brain injury.
A specialist training programme is in place to help carers with their role.
An education programme is run in schools to help prevent brain injuries.
Support group meetings are available across the county.
Headway provides 73 places each week at its day centre, for people with brain injury.
People with brain injury can access specialist care and support to help with their rehabilitation.
People living with the effects of brain injury have someone to turn to.
Headway will continue to provide these vital services.
Your donations are important to us and help provide vital services for people living with the effects of brain injury. Below are a few ways your donations could help.
Could help provide initial information for someone who has acquired a brain injury.
Could help provide a hospital or home visit by a member of the Community Support Team.
Could help provide a Neuro-gym session for 7 people.
Could help provide the fuel for the Headway minibus for one month.
Could help provide electricity for one month at the Headway Centre.
Could help provide one monthly support group meeting.
Could run Headway Essex for one day.
